This product is OK. Just as you see it. A litle darker than how it looks on the picture.

Beautiful faucet! Caution if using for undermount sink. Unless you drill through the sink the faucet does not extend far enough into the sink. Great for overmount sink.

Amazing value
I searched high and low for a Roman Tub Faucet of quality and style in my budget and faucetdirect.com had the solution. This Moen product is gorgeous, my plumber had no problem installing it and he mentioned to me that if I ever had a problem, Moen is excellent at standing behind their products. I also purchased other items from the Eva collection from Moen...all of which were outstanding.

faucettsdirect.com as been great to work with. I have ordered 3 faucett sets and a shower head/handle from them. they have the best selection, the best prices, are prompt with delivery. This roman faucett is great, matches the other faucetts in our master bath that we ordered from faucettsdirect.com and was in new and excellent condition when we recvd it. Nice Product
We bought all our faucets and fixtures for our master bathroom remodel and Faucet Direct has been exceptional. The customer service is second to none. I'm sure all the reps are great but Jamin (if I can say a name) has been awesome to work with. We actually ordered two roman tub setups knowing we'd be sending one back due to how our fixtures would have to be installed. Jamin was so instrumental in helping us on this project. I got my return authorization yesterday and will be sending back the additional material from our tub install. I'm sure the return will go great. I told Jamin anytime we need faucets or anything like this again, we'll certainly be giving him a call. And by the way, while our plumber was at our house, there was a small piece missing on the assembly part of the faucet and our plumber called Moen directly and they are sending out that plastic piece via mail which will arrive today. They are sending it free. So, between Moen and Faucet Direct, who needs any other plumbing retailer, you know. Thanks again Jamin and Faucet Direct!!!!!!!

Very nice looking
This faucet has a very nice, elegant look to it, and is a great addition to our bathroom. Just one warning - because of the shape, the faucet tends to wiggle a little. Perhaps having young children wiggling it makes that worse... I expected it to be seated more firmly, but perhaps my installer didn't tighten it correctly, or perhaps my garden tub is made out of cheap material that doesn't give it a firm base, or perhaps it is just the shape that lends itself toward wiggling. Don't know - just treat it kindly if you have little kids.

Does this Moet Faucet come with drain?
The Moen T943 tub trim does not come with the drain.
I have a house built in 1996 with a moen chateau faucet on a roman tub. I believe it has a valve with a 1248 cartriage in a 4999 valve. Will I need anything to make this work with the T943 eva?
I would suggest changing the valve out to a Moen 9000 which will be compatible with these faucets.
What is the distance from the middle of the faucet to where the water comes out?
The spout reach measures 8.5"
Does the Moen T943 require a separate drain kit?
The Moen T943 requires a rough in valve, Moen 4992 or Moen 4993, but as a Roman tub filler does not include a drain. The drain kit would depend on your tub and you would need to find a drain kit that would work with your tub.
I do not want the spout centered between the two handles. Is it possible to have both the hot and cold handles on the same side of the spout? If so, what is the maximum distance I can place them from the spout?
The Moen T943 will require the 4992 rough in valve and with this valve you can install the handles wherever you want.

The Moen T943 uses either valve 4992 or valve 4993. The Moen Chateau roman tub faucets use the same valves. They are compatible with one another.
what is a trim kit...... and how would i determine which one fits where my existing faucet is?
A trim kit refers to the ornate part of a plumbing fixture that is actually seen and touched by the user. The way you can tell if the Moen T943, or any faucet for that matter, will fit where your existing faucet is by the centers. What the 'center' measurement is, is the distance from the center of the left handle to the center of the right handle (basically the two outermost parts of the sink that will need drilling into the sink or counter top in order to make a connection with the water supply). For example the Moen t943 has multiple centers because the handles are not attached to the spout.

With this or any 2 handle tub filler, must the levers be installed to either side of the faucet, or can faucet be on one side of tub and levers on the other?
The Moen T943 supply lines will not accommodate the handles being on the opposite side as the filler spout.
