Wise Choice The directions for install were less detailed than I would have liked. Fortunately, I had a plumber there the week before and he reset one of the taps to turn off in the correct direction as it relates to the handle. That info was not included in the directions. April 3, 2009

Is the T994 slip fit

The Moen T994 tub fill spout is a slip fit design and the supplies are 1/2"type K, copper tubing.

Does the spout have to be in line with the handles?

No, as long as the supply lines are long enough, the handles would not have to be in line with the spout.
