Can a deck mounted hand held shower be added to this assembly?
A. The Moen T999 is able to have a deck mounted hand shower installed, but would be easier to purchase the T991 that comes with one. Otherwise, we would need to plumb in a diverter valve and trim, then get the hose, hand shower, and deck mount.
Will this fit 8" spread
A. The Moen T999 is for a 10" spread only.
If I want to replace these acrylic knob which is currently on in my bathroom tub, what can I replace it with without having to replace the whole valve?
A. The Moen T999 is compatible with any of these products: http://www.build.com/index.cfm?moen-chateau-collection=c81100&categoryid=81100&collection=Moen%20Chateau&page=search:browse&F19214=roman%20tub
Is a Moen-to-Moen conversion compatible without under-deck access?
The only way you would not have to have under deck access to change a tub filler is if the existing faucet uses the same rough in valve. If you are simply replacing the trim, going from Moen to Moen, you shouldn't need to access the valve from underneath.
I do not want acrylic knobs. Can I replace with any other ones?
Yes, Moen recommends part number 15624, which is displayed on the model number T990.

Why don't we show the price?
Like many retailers, Build.com can choose to set its own prices independently. And even though manufacturers require Build.com and other retailers to display a product's "minimum advertised price" (or MAP), the retailer can choose to sell for less than that. But the price must be conveyed in other ways, and each individual manufacturer's MAP policy determines where the price can be seen.
To see the price for this product at Build.com, you'll need to place it in your shopping cart, and maybe even proceed to final checkout. If you're not ready to buy the product, simply remove it from the cart.
Build.com apologizes for any inconvenience. We'd just like to offer you the chance to save extra money while we adhere to manufacturers' MAP policies. Build.com is also working to educate manufacturers on how their policies impact customers and their buying behavior.
