Posi-Temp® Valve: A pressure balancing valve that maintains water temperature within 3° F. Built-in temperature limit stops allow you to control how far the handle rotates, in effect controlling the range of water temperature. The Posi-Temp® offers the best water flow available for any comparable valve.

Will this trim kit come with esutcheon chrome 100663?

The Moen TL182 does include Moen 100663 Escutcheon plate for the Chateau Posi-Temp 1 handle shower.

What does this kit include?

The Moen TL182 is just the shower head, arm and flange, and the handle, basically everything you see in the picture. This does not include the valve which is ordered seperately.

Is this compatible with the older moentrol which has a pull out handle to turn the water on?

This is Posi-Temp trim it will not work. From the way you described it I believe you have what is called the Standard valve, it can be used with any Moentrol trim as long as you purchase the 145058 part.

My shower wall with tile is too thick to install this. Can I use a handle extension? Which one?

The Moen TL182 does have an extension handle available. If you are needing the one inch handle extension the model number is is 96945 and the two inch is model number 96955.

Will this work with Moen shower assembly Chateau 2739?

The Moen TL182 will work only if you have a rotate-only handle.
