Great Island Light Very happy with the look of the light over the island. Great finish of steel, and shades have a consistent look lit and unlit. Mover than enough downpoles to set any any desired height in 6" increments. Provides more light than expected. Very satisfied with the product. April 25, 2010

Is the maximum height 69.5 or can it be adjusted shorter. I want a light not to hang more than 36 inches from the cealing?

The height is adjustable as it includes 1 6" and 3 12" stems to vary the height.

Can this be mounted on a vaulted ceiling?

The Murray Feiss F2428/3 unfortunately can not be mounted on a slanted ceiling.

Can I purchase additional down rods?

The Murray Feiss F2428/3 includes (1) 6" and (3) 12" stems. There are additional stems you can purchase and the model number is MF STEM KIT.
