Nice Fixture This is a beautiful fixture. It wasn't difficult to install and it's looks gorgeous in person with thick, frosted glass. I like that it takes a regular incandescent bulb, so I can substitute whichever energy saving bulb that I prefer. My only slight complaint (with all ceiling fixtures really) is that the diffusers soften the light too much. It does help that the fixture sits away from the ceiling, so light can bounce of the ceiling also. I put these in all my bedrooms and I love them. October 3, 2011

Light looks a lot better on line than in person. Would not recommend this light especially if you have a white ceiling. The light gets lost against it. Kind of looks cheap. July 26, 2010

Very attractive light, easy to install We have put this light in two of our bedrooms. Goes great with our colonial revival house, without being too traditional. Very easy to install -- the base is easy to hold in one hand while you are connecting the wiring. July 16, 2010

The Murray Feiss MF SF240O is only comes in the oil rubbed bronze base. I think they were looking at it from directly below and the globe is larger than the base.
