This attractive natural gas fireplace has a max input of 30,000 BTUs with 20,400 BTU max output. The 66.8% rating means less heat is lost and the modern style allows a variety of installations, limited only by your imagination. The realistic Phazer™ logs and decorative brick panels will give a traditional fireplace look, and the three open panels of safe, heat-resistant glass makes it perfect for peninsular installation. Napoleon's Direct Vent Gas Fireplaces do not require a chimney and can be vented directly through a wall or roof. The direct vent draws its combustion air from outside while venting to the same outside atmosphere - thereby not consuming warm house air, nor competing with other appliances and furnaces for combustion air.
