This natural gas fireplace has a maximum input of 28,500 BTUs with a steady state output of 19,500 BTUs when using natural gas, meaning that heat is preserved to warm your home. With the fan on the efficiency is 68.5% and the AFUE Rating is 64%. The heavy gauge pan burner system creates a nice Yellow Dancing Flame with a brightly glowing charcoal bed beneath, giving you a beautiful appearance of real fire in your living room. With the 100% Safe Guard(tm) gas shut off, on/off switch, and 50% flame/heat adjustment this natural gas fireplace is a safe and comfortable choice.

Napoleon's Direct Vent Gas Fireplaces do not require a chimney and can be vented directly through a wall or roof. The direct vent draws its combustion air from outside while venting to the same outside atmosphere - thereby not consuming warm house air, nor competing with other appliances and furnaces for combustion air. Direct venting also eliminates drafts and heat loss associated with other fireplaces.
