Will this work with instant hot water, like the Newport Brass 5-036 hot water tank?

The Newport Brass 9482 is not designed for an instant hot water with it's higher water flow and different mounting.

Do your pot fillers mix hot and cold water?

The Newport Brass 9482 is designed for use with both hot and cold water. It only has a single 1/2" inlet for water though and most people choose to use cold water to knock down the occasional over boiling pot.
