Nutone fan It took us a while to find a replacement for our old Nutone fan, but this one dropped right in and worked without replacing the wiring or the installation brackets. Just a simple 5 minute install! May 1, 2011

Great, Easy just what we wanted We purchased this heater-fan for the bathroom to replace a 26 year old product of the same type. Was very pleased with the service and got our product on time. It fit the bill! I needed to replace a 30-year old venting/heating/lighting Nutone fan, Model 9093. Luckily Nutone still makes this versatile model (in white only, though) with the same housing dimensions. All my electrician had to do was to replace the insides and wall switches. I re-used my original lens/grille, as it matched the other aluminum-toned one in my bathroom. These fans will last a long time with routine maintenance; I vacuum the insides every 6 months. Customer Service representative just needs to be informed that new electrical control switches are included with the unit. June 27, 2010

Good Deal Fast Shipping!! I bought this Light, Vent and Heat assembly to replace an older Nutone system that is basically the same as this newer one. Installation went smooth and easy. powerful unit! This heater/vent was put in to replace a similiar outdated non-working NuTone heater/vent unit. This one is much more powerful. The fan blows on high when heating, which almost makes a little cool breeze. I usually run it to warm up the bathroom first. The vent doesn't vent out all the steam immediately, but if I leave it on after leaving the bathroom it does clear up. I would prefer the blower blow heat more slowly and the vent suck out humidity more quickly. Otherwise it is still a good unit. February 26, 2010

GREAT SERVICE Enjoy the fan/light/heater/nightlight It is wired for the 4 featuers. IF and that is a BIG IF your wall is also wired for the 4 features. Mine was wired only for 3 so i cant use the nightlight. HOWEVER, it is still a superb item. the company gave me incorrect measurements, but, it still fit perfectly in the old hole as i thought it would from the previous series. September 4, 2009

Do you make a light which throws heat that does not have a fan it it and that would also fit a typical pot light hole?

The Light you may want to look at is a Progress Lighting P6952TG.

How do I replace the heater assembly? AFter 4 years of daily use the heater no longer works.

The NuTone 9093WH does have replacement parts. I recommend calling Nutone about warranty or finding the correct parts you need.

is it available in other finishes than white?

The NuTone 9093WH is only available in white, unforunately.

I want to replace a NuTone model 8664RP with 9093WH. Will the new fan/light/heater fit in the existing 8664RP housing?

The NuTone 9093WH will work with the same housing.

Can these units be used in a shower?

The NuTone 9093WH can be used in a bathroom, but is not recommended to be installed directly over the shower enclosure itself. As long as it is away from the shower enclosure, it will work efficiently. The reason this is not approved for installation directly above the shower is because it cannot handle wet environments and is only approved for damp locations.

Do you have the Nutone 9093 with the incandescent light?

The NuTone 9093WH does use a incandescent light bulb. The Nutone 9093FWH is the Flourescent version.

Is this unit QUIET? I don't want a noisy fan/heater.

How are light bulbs changed?

The NuTone 9093WH has two phillips head screws located just outside the lens, that you must loosen, then you simply twist the grill and lens off together.

Why should the NuTone 9093 not be mounted in a shower stall enclosure?

The NuTone 9093WH is rated for use in a damp location. If it is located directly in a shower stall enclosure the unit will be exposed to too much moisture and will be subject to electrical damage. As long as it is located in a location that is not directly exposing it to a great amount of moisture it will work just fine. Like in a bathroom adjacent to the shower.

Can I mount this on a sloping ceiling?

The NuTone 9093WH can be mounted to a slope ceiling as long as it follows the correct installation instructions for the joist and ducting.

Can this unit be mounted to the wall?

The NuTone 9093WH is recommended for ceiling installations and should not be mounted to a side wall per the manufacturers instructions.
