Good option Since I bought a heater from you and I live in Texas and it's July, we haven't really used it yet. But, it installed easily and appears to work fine for the small bath we have when we tested it. Thanks for asking my opinion. July 25, 2009

what is the lowest thermostat setting on this heater? I want to use it in a garage where I need to keep it to just about 40 degrees.

The NuTone 9815WH has a thermostat with a comfort zone setting which is 60 degrees to 95 degrees.

Is the 9810 a forced air heater? What size room woiuld this heater satisfy?

The NuTone 9815WH is a electric heater without a blower. It is could for about 220 sq. ft.

Can I get one with a timer ?

The NuTone 9815WH is included with its own switch, but a timer switch would work just as well when installed. They would need to be purchased separately, and any timer switch you'd like should work just fine.
