What is the assembly tube?

A. The NuTone CA130 30' to 32' Hose Sock for 1" and 1-3/8" Diameter Hoses does not come with an assembly tube. The assembly tube is just a cardboard cylinder similar to what gift wrap comes on and is used simply for slipping the "sock" onto the vacuum hose.
