Keeping your pantry organized is much easier when you have the proper tools and a little creativity in mind. I try to follow these pantry organization ideas to help me find what I am looking for faster and to try and avoid any clutter in my small pantry. I have also picked some of my favorite products to make organizing your pantry a little bit easier.

Pantry Organization Ideas

These eight ideas for organizing your pantry space are sure to help you find other ways to organize your space. Share with us your ideas in the comments below.

Tip 1: Can Food Organizer

Canned food holders keep your cans secured and much easier to access. You can also use a can food organizer in the fridge to keep your soda or other canned drinks cold and easy to grab.

Tip 2: Baskets, Baskets and More Baskets

Baskets, like the ones shown, are a great way to organize food and other pantry goods. Utilize different sizes and styles to keep all of your items perfectly organized.

Tip 3: Buy in Bulk

Use canisters to save money buying in bulk and keep your food fresher longer. These keep your flour, coffee beans, cereal and other dry goods fresh and organized.

Tip 4: Install Shelves

Add shelving to your walls to increase storage without losing walking space. Open shelving is becoming more and more popular to show off your fun and colorful appliances.

Tip 5: Hang it on a Door

Door baskets are a great way to utilize all areas of your pantry's space. Add these to your cabinet doors or your pantry doors to optimize your space.

Tip 6: Get Creative with the Organizer

For a nonpermanent option, use a shoe holder that hangs from your door. You can organize spices or any smaller, light-weight pantry goods without spending too much on a single item.

Tip 7: Go All Out

For the ultimate organizational option, consider built in pantry organization kits. These options take organizing to a new level and utilize the most out of your space.

Tip 8: Make a Chalkboard

You can always paint a chalkboard or white board for a grocery list or menu. Keep your shopping list close to your pantry so it's easy to check to see what you need. This will help you from forgetting on your next trip.

If you are more into DIY-ing and creating the organizers yourself, check out how to make a spice rack to help you become inspired on what you can build.
