Is it difficult to make the fitting fit flush to the wall?

The Pfister 016-170 just screws on to the water supply and should fit flush as long as your pipe does not protrude too far from the wall.

The Pfister 016-170 is a wall elbow. One end will attach to the plumbing on the wall and the other part will attach to the hose.
