Ashfield Single Hole Bathroom Sink Waterfall Faucet with Country Pump Style Handle
Cool Looking--Conversation Piece
I have a country style bathroom and this faucet reminded me of a hand pump. It fits the decor nicely. The install was fairly straight forward and if you have done this kind of job before you shouldn't have much difficulty. I, on the other hand, have no plumbing skills nor tools so I had to hire a co-worker as an installer. It took him just about 3 hours, of course I don't know what he was doing during my trips to the big box store.
There were no major problems and I love the faucet, it was just frustrating to keep running to the big box store to get extra parts. The flex hoses attached to the PP model were shorter than what was on the original fixture, so I had to get an extension. Thankfully PP gives you adapaters on their flex hoses. That installed pretty quickly.
The next problem was the major pipe piece that fits into the u-bend drain pipe was also too short. PP gives you a nice brass piece of metal but it was about an inch short, so I ran once again to get a replacement part. This was silver metal but who looks under the vanity under the sink anyway? It was just frustrating to have to keep going to get longer bits for the install.
The only major problem I had has nothing to do with the faucet at all. I have very old iron pipes and so they were gunked up which clogged up the narrow opening in the flex hose. The hot water didn't flow at above a drip rate. We undid everything and cleaned out the cock, and the nipples and the flex hose. Its running ok now, the cold water runs fine but there was never a problem with that, but there still must be a clog someplace in the pipe because it still doesn't flow as fast as the cold water, but I'm not going to destroy the house to replace the pipes. I'm happy enough with it as it is.
The faucet is all I expected it to be. I was a bit nervous ordering online as one can't really tell how it really looks, what the color will be, etc. I made a good choice, it looks fantastic, its an interesting design and I am sure people will remark on it. Now I need to start looking at Kitchen Sinks and Faucets on this site for a kitchen update. One need not have any worries about ordering from Faucet Direct, there was help from a live customer service operator when I had questions about the model before I had decided on what I actually wanted.

finish does not stay on!
Love the design on this faucet.. but after 2 months usage and NO abuse from chemical or harsh abrasives, the finish on the drain faceplate & pop-u valve peels right OFF!.. replaced once and has done again!..6 months and two 'new' products later it looks horrible.

This faucet is quite unique. It looks great with our new Swanstone (Pebble) vanity top and sensor soap dispenser. It works well and everyone who sees it, thinks it is very modern and and are impressed by it

Beautiful Faucet for a Great Price
I absolutely LOVE this faucet. I installed this in the powder room in my old home and everyone who walked in, came out talking about our "cool faucet".Even my 2 year old son at the time was facinated with it. I had no trouble getting him to wash his hands with that faucet.
It was a big hit when we sold our home after 10 years. We received frequent compliments on it and I can honestly say I never had any issues with it.
Unlike other reviewers who had bad experiences with the drain faceplate, I did not. Simply because I never changed it out. The old faceplace still looked new so I left it in.
Overall, it adds a unique touch to any bathroom and is well worth the money. I will be buying another one for my new home :o)

Absolutely love this faucet. I hear it was easy to install except for the drain closing pull-up thingy (the technical term). Instead of being straight up and down, it went in at an angle and wouldn't work with our odd shaped sink so we left it off. I don't care about that part - the faucet is gorgeous. The quality is great, the finish is great and the inside of the spout is textured so there are NO water spots on it. LOVE IT, LOVE IT!

Needs Space Behind
We love this single faucet, but after we installed our granite countertops and had the single hole drilled, we realized it was a "tight squeeze" to pull up the drain release in the back. It comes out at an angle. We had to shave the hole a bit, and it's still a tight squeeze. So, measure the distance you'll need first as the plunger does pull up at an angle, not straight up and down.

Beautiful faucet, difficult to install
I love the look of this faucet and it works great. I had a handyman install it and it took them quite a while to install because the drain lever is at an angle and it was hard to get in straight. I think that the design of my sink also made the situation worse, though. But, they did finally get it in and it works beautifully. I love the unique style, too.

Very unique look!!
Loved this faucet when I found it online. After we have it installed in our new basement BR I love it even more. The trough design for the water spout is very unique and the pump-handle is very smooth to operate. We have gotten so may compliments on this fixture. The installation was fairly simple as well.. Very well made product.

Quality & Design
This is a quality piece that looks stunning. We love it. The water runs out softly. It's relaxing. It doesn't run out with super fast power if that's what you're looking for. But I knew this since I had seen this style in restaraunts. It does have a nice, full flow of water to cover your hands very well.
