30" Copper Hammered Kitchen Apron Single Basin Sink
beautiful hammered copper sink
Sink is gorgeous, and I was truly hoping to get the kind of copper sink that is not soldered at the edges, but is instead rolled all of one sheet of copper. I have heard nightmare stories about the former kind of sinks. I would have ranked this a 5 except that the hammering on the copper seems uniform except for one place in the middle of the sink which is pretty obvious.

I've only had this sink for 2 weeks, so I'm not sure how long the rich color will hold up. However, it is beautiful looking, large, and solid. I bought the beeswax sealer to help maintain the color. The copper garbage disposal drain fits perfectly too.

Arrived in less than 2 weeks in perfect shape. Great quality and looks amazing in the kitchen. We just had it installed and do not have any problems with it so far. We get many compliments on it. Would recommend the sound kit which we installed.

Important Update on this sink!
I originally gave this sink a 5 Star rating. That was BEFORE a recent incident that has rendered this sink a 1 Star rating.
I left a tea ball in the sink over night with the tea still inside it. The tea was a special blend of citrus and green tea. The following morning I noticed I had left the tea ball in the sink. When I picked it up to clean it, the citrus in the tea removed the blacking material and left a bright shiny copper circle the size of a silver dollar. Apparently, anything acidic left in the sink will remove the blacking that coats the copper. We are a pasta loving family so tomato sauce is a big part of our diet. Tomato sauce is acidic just like citrus fruits.
I carefully read all the comments about this sink before I ordered it. I can't believe I am the only purchaser that encountered this problem. Now I will have to find out how to fix this problem! Not happy about this at all as this sink was very expensive!
