How do you change the light bulb for the Progress Lighting P3688-09
To change the bulb on the Progress Lighting P3688 you just remove the glass shade which is done by twisting it off.

Terrific Flushmount Ceiling Fixture
Worked well with a small space in the hallway. Excellent light. Brushed metal looks great and the glass is high quality too.

Utilitarian overhead light
We chose this ceiling light mainly for its size and chrome finish as we remodeled a tiny half bath. It works fine with a CFL bulb.

Perfect replacement for RV
While in the process of reconstructing a water damaged RV, I wanted to upgrade the lighting. I chosen the Progress Lighting P3688 ceiling fixtures for their very low profile to fit my RV's 6'-5" ceilings. They are a great light for the price, a vast improvement to the original lighting, and work well even wired to my RV's 12 volt circuits using 12 volt CFL bulbs.

Can fluorescent lamps be used in this fixture?
The Progress Lighting P3688 can take fluorescent bulbs as long as they do not exceed 60 watts.
Can this light be used on a bathroom ceiling?
The Progress Lighting P3688 is UL-CUL listed for damp locations so it would work very well in a bathroom setting.

How does this mount
Thank you for your question! The Progress Lighting P3688 is a flush ceiling mount that features a covered outlet box, a mounting strap is included and it has a twist lock glass. The light should mount directly onto the ceiling.
Can this light be used as the shower light...right in the walk-in shower?
The Progress Lighting P3688 is not UL listed for wet locations so it is not recommended for use directly inside a shower. It is UL listed for damp locations so it can be used inside a bathroom, just not anywhere where direct contact with moisture may occur.
