Transitional Island / Billiard Fixture from the Madison Collection 4 5 1 1

I love this fixture--the styling and the fact that you can point the lights upward (which was what I was looking for). The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the main tubing that holds the lights is easily bent--seems like it should be made of a stronger material. Everything else about it was great. Can I order more chain for this fixture? We have 20 ft ceilings above our island.

How far above a kitchen island should this hang?

The Progress Lighting P4282 is recommended to be installed at a minimum height of 18" above the countertop and can be installed higher.

What is the length of this light and the size of the globes?

The Progress Lighting P4282 is 31.25" wide by 7-3/4" deep by 24" tall. The globes are 7-1/2" in diameter and 4-3/8" tall.

About the glass. I was looking for milk white. Is the "etched glass" a solid white or is it more like white spider webs? webs

The Progress Lighting P4282 is a consitant cloudy solid white color.

Can I replace the globes? Are they a standard size? I am trying to match a track light with a cream colored glass.

The Progress Lighting P4282 comes with the current globes and they are removable from the fixture.

How far above a pool table should this fixture hang?

Fixtures over pool tables should hang 33 to 36 inches (about three feet).

What is the minimum height this light hangs from the ceiling?

The Progress Lighting P4282 is 24" in height from bottom of the glass to where the chain meets the fixture, so you could hang it at any length plus the 24". However this light is able to be pointed upwards which would take 4 and 3/8" off of the 24".
