I have same fixture, diameter 44" (P4406?) and would like 2 new canopies..the part that covers the globe as well as in the ceiling.

The Progress Lighting P4406 replacement canopies are number 130831-555.

Would you say this would be to big the hang over my coffee table???

The Progress Lighting P4406 is not too big to hang over your coffee table, it has a diameter of 14".

Is the globe made of glass?

Would it be easy enough to extend the cord length to a 76" length for someone that is somewhat electrical capable?
