Is this light rated for use on a covered patio?

The Progress Lighting P6149 is compatible for use in a covered patio.

I would like to use this light above my sink. Recessed won't fit becuase there's a joist there. Is this small enough?

The Progress Lighting P6149 can extend to a maximum height of 12 inches. I'm not sure how much space you have to work with, but I hope that measurement helps you out!

Is the "white" a vivid, gloss white or more subdued like an off-white with matte finish?

Hello, The Progress Lighting P6149 white finish will be a more glossy white.

I am considering using this light on stairs/balcony. Will the light project at least 10-15 feet?

The Progress Lighting P6149 should reach 10ft.

Please let me know the diameter of the plate at the base?

The plate measures 8.25" in diameter.

Can halogen bulbs be used?

The Progress Lighting P6149 uses (2) 50w PAR20 bulbs, but should be able to use any Halogen bulb base.
