Are these suitable for a handy cap person?
A. No these are not ADA compliant, however the handshower could be used if mounted lower by other means, and the controls would be within reach, typically, ADA compliance goes based off of your shower setup, not the actual shower faucet.

If it does not have an anti scald valve, is there one available for this unit?
A. The Pulse P1012 does not have an Anti Scald valve it uses a pressure balance valve that you will have to adjust the temperature with. All Pulse shower panel's use the pressure balance valve system.
