1560 CFM QuietCool Energy Saver Attic/Gable Fan

The Quiet Cool AFGES-1500 Energy Saving Attic/Gable Fan has no competitors, this fan is as green as it gets using only 36 watts. Comparable to one half of a 60 watt light bulb! Very Quiet operation, can be installed directly in bedrooms. Works best with multiple fans, and is intended for each bedroom of the home as long as attic and other obstacles allow. Recommended 2 CFM's (cubic feet per minute) per square foot of entire home. i.e.: 3000 sq. ft. would equal an approximate 6000 CFM System.

Can this fan be installed in the gable? And is it as quite as advertised?

The QC Manufacturing AFGES-1500 is meant to be installed on a gable and is a very quiet fan.

Can I mount it on an angled roof? I am trying to replace the noisy motor/fan in a pre-existing roof fan. It's a Master Flow with a 5 inch diameter motor and 14 inch fan blade.

Does the fan not have a thermostat to auto turn on/off for a set temperature?

The QC Manufacturing AFGES-1500 doesn't come with a thermostat built-in, however you can wire it to one. Although most customers wire it to an on off switch.
