The Cherry
This light was the cherry on my kitchen remodel. Other than being out of stock for many months which was not the fault of Lighting.com I was completely satisfied.

Easy to install
The light arrived quickly. The ad did state there is a diffuser but there is really not. Not a big deal for my application. Installs easily (as easy as any light fixture). The quality appears good. Mostly metal - not plastic or resin like most lighting has gone to these days.

The Quoizel ER1508 is about 3.5 lbs.
we have 12 ft ceilings and we need to hang 72". are there extension rods for this?
Quoizel does offer extension stems. If you put "Quoizel Stems" in the search bar, you will bring extention stems.
What does "imperial silver" mean? Polished nickel?
The Quoizel ER1508 in the Imperial Silver will be more of a polished nickel than a polished chrome.
Is the distance from the ceiling adjustable or can it only hang at 47 1/2"?
This item is adjustable as it includes 2 12" stems and 2 6" stems.
What is the actual height of the fixture itself. I know the width is 8"

The height is listed at 47 1/2 inches. This is the wire plus fixture height. What is just the fixture height? I am trying to determine if it is too large for over my bar.
The Quoizel ER1508 fixture height is 17 1/2". The 47 1/2" is the fixture height including the down rod.
What is the height of the shade only? Will a standard light bulb protrude out the bottom?
The Quoizel ER1508 has a shade that is 5 1/2" tall. A standard medium base bulb should not protrude from the shade at all.
