beautiful fixture, wonderful craftmanship
This ceiling fixture was even better than expected. Not only is it gorgeous but the craftmenship is astounding. I was looking for something above my kitchen table but didn't want to see the bare bulbs. This light not only has a cover on the bottom so you can't see the light bulbs, but also has a top cover. What really impressed me was the engineering of the top cover. It's recessed about 1 inch all around to let the heat from the light bulbs out and it was made of glass! That was unexpected and such a smart choice by Quoizel because glass doesn't absorb the heat like plastic. It's a small thing, but it just goes to show that this is not just your run-of-the-mill light fixure. This craftmenship could be seen throughout. Not a tile was missing or out of place and the inside mica is beautiful. It was very easy to install. Took me about 30 minutes, which included taking down the old fixure. I did use their enclosed bracket because it was much better than the bracket that was there.
I bought the 16 inch version because I have a small kitchen table -- 36 inches round. If you have a bigger one (most are 40 to 42 inches), get the 22 inch version. It's on back order, but it's worth the wait and is the one I would have bought if I had a bigger table.
Just a word about lightingdirect.com -- I searched the Internet and their price was one of the lowest. My purchase qualified for free standard shipping and you normally take your chances with that. It was delivered in 2 days in perfect condition. I would definitely order from them again!

Love the fixture!
I was a little leary about ordering a light fixture by picture only. I was very happy when it arrived. I have a small dining room, and the fixture looks great in there. It was exactly what I was looking for. Shipping was fast, and no problems at all with the ordering process. I would definitely order from this company again.
