Great look but bit hard to put up
This light is a great look for our bathroom and replaced another one we had just installed whose shades were just too big; our experience with this other light was that we didn't like the way the bulbs were fully exposed and a bit blinding when you looked up. Our plan for this Quoizel light was to install it with the shades pointing up; the fact the shades are shorter in height makes pointing the shades up easier to accomplish than other styles.
The only issue we had with the light was installation was a bit difficult because this Quoizel light is missing a wired-in type connector, meaning that two people are needed to install--one to hold the light fixture while the other connects all the wires. Many lights nowadays have this connector which makes installation much easier--another light we just installed upstairs (made by a different company) had this connector. So be prepared for two people to have to install this light.
Aside from the challenging installation, the light looks really good in the bathroom and we love the short shades. The opal glass is a nice effect because it diffuses the light a little bit; you can up the wattage of your bulbs (up to 100 per bulb socket) to make up for this.

Beautiful
The order shipped and delivered as I expected. My contractor finally installed last week and it is beautiful..lots of discussion on the globes being up as pictured or down as needed due to lighting problems in the new bathroom. Went with the globes down but the bulbs showed. So I hit the local store where I found "low profile" 60 watt bulbs..same price as regular bulbs but they are short no show with no writing on the end of the bulb. The texture of the globes and the light they put out were the answers to both my problems..style and light! All my neighbors love it as well.

Great Online Buying Experience
The light fixture was nice but what set this purchase apart was the service & convenience. The website was easy to navigate and the selection was easy to narrow down because of the numerous catagories the products had been sorted into. The customer service was terrific as well.

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT

This light fixture arrived within a week, was well packaged and was consistent with the description given. It looks beautiful in our bathroom. We are very happy with the overall effect and would not hesitate to order another fixture from this company.
