can this be used in a bathroom above a sink mirror away from shower?
The Quoizel YU8710 is CUL rated for a dry location however it is also suggested to be used for a bathroom. If the fixture is used away from the shower it won't likely be damaged.

Great wall sconce
Bought one to try in a bathroom remodel and liked it so much we ordered 5 more. This is a substantial, well-made fixture as one would expect from Quoizel. Very pretty light with glass that darkens to amber toward base. I have 4 on a dimmer switch in my 20 foot high foyer and they are very attractive. Can't say enough good things about LightingDirect.com. All my lighting and ceiling fan orders have arrived within 3-4 days of order time.

Beautiful fixture
I've owned and enjoyed this lovely sconce piece about four years now. It is excellent quality, even prettier in person and adds a soft "nature" accent and warmth to any room. Note: top of the fixture protrudes about 9" from the wall so pick an appropriate installation site and height. (Ex: narrow hallway would have a clearance issue especially depending on the installation height.) My sconce is located above a 40" tall curio cabinet that is topped with an antique box radio. It looks great!

great quality
I'm very pleased with the quality of this sconce. The glass is thick, but allows a lot of light through. It brightens up the room quite well.

Can this light go above a sink in a bathroom away from the shower?

What materials are this fixture and shade made of?
The Quoizel YU8710 is manufactured from stainless steel. The shade is manufactured from glass.
Does come in different finishes I would like brush nickel.
The Quoizel YU8710 only comes in imperial bronze unfortunately. We do have a lot of beautiful sconces in a nickel finish, but none exactly like this one.
