Is the 8.25" the diameter or the width of the shade? If not, what is the diameter?

The diameter of the Quoizel ZE1617 is 17".

Do you have this style in a larger size?

The Quoizel Ze2822 is the largest fixture made in this collection, which is 22" in diameter.

Will this fixture work in a kitchen? Or would heat/steam damage it?

The Quoizel ZE1617 is UL listed for damp locations. A kitchen location would be fine.

Does this fixture come in a larger size than 3 light. Looking for 4 light larger diameter of 20+ inches

Unfortunately this is the only size for the flush mount.

What are the dimensions and how does this lamp attach to the ceiling?
