How long is the snake? and can this be used on an outside drain? (I have a drain by a door that floods)

A. The Ridgid Auto-Spin Sink Machine comes with a 30' cable. You could use it for light blockages in an outdoor drain, providing the line is between 3/4" & 1-1/2", but it is not powerful enough to deal with roots, and will be ineffectual in any line over 1-1/2".
