No Place like Chrome for the holidays Changed out our Schlage door knobs to Baldwin -huge improvement BUT.... the strike plates that come with Baldwin knobs are too small for the existing holes in our doors. We tried the chrome Schlage strike plates and they worked beautifully. This upgrade gave us more bang for the buck than many other (way more expensive) projects. The plates were beautiful - my wife calls the Baldwin/Schlage combo "door Jewelry". Great stuff! December 6, 2009
