switchplate did not fit
We are still without a switchplate to lock the deadbolt. The one it came with did not fit what we had before and I can not find one at the hardware stores to fit either. Disappointed.

Great Lock, Wrong Picture
Great lock but the picture shows it as a SecureKey and it is not. If you want the SecureKey type get the B60-SK. I ordered it thinking it was the SecureKey type because of the plus on the lock in the picture. HandleSets was great to work with and exchanged it with no hassle at all. I would certainly order from HandleSet again.

Schlage B60 Deadbolt
I purchased 3 of these deadbolts in the nickle finish to match 3 Schlage handles. All were replacements of door knobs and deadbolts installed in older doors.
Doing business with Handlesets.com is wonderful because they have what I want, their prices are better than anywhere else .. AND if you need special assistance, their well-versed sales reps are just an email or a phone call away.

Smooth and reliable
I purchased 2 of the same locks, one for a security screen and one for the door. Both locks installed without problems and are working smoothly. As part of the purchase they were keyed same by Handleset.com.

Good product
Good solid product, easy to install. I've used Schlage locks for my home for the past 10 years and those still work like new, and the brass has not tarnished. These locks are all steel. I bought several sets and HandleSets.com keyed them all alike.

This was an excellent choice for replacing an old deadbolt. It's a good quality product and I chose to have it keyed-alike to the handlesets I ordered. Installation went smoothly. The polished brass finish made everything look top-notch. Recommending this to friends is a no-brainer.

Good lock
Good lock and especially nice to have everything adjustable. Turned out the bore for my deadbolt was smaller than the primary bore on my old door, I didn't realize it until I took all of the old hardware off.

Can you tell me the exposed dimension of the face?
The Schlage B60 has a 2-5/8" face radius.
Does this have a thumb turn on the interior for locking? It does not show in the picture.
The Schlage B60 comes with a thumb latch on the interior.
Is it possible to order the Schlage B60 in the bronze color with a passage function (same style handle). I am just trying to cover up the hole in an interior door with a small handle.
Unfortunately no. What I recommend is purchasing a one sided deadbolt like the B81 or a round hole cover (can be purchased at your local hardware store).

As long as the units are compatible and you can provide the key code, yes.

Yes, if you select keyed alike on all the keyed items that you order they will be keyed the same, as long as they all use the same keyway.

The Schlage B60 is not the SecureKey or Blue key technology. The Schlage B60-SK is the one with the blue key.

A double cylinder deadbolt is key activated from the interior and the exterior. A single cylinder is activated by key from the exterior and has a thumb latch on the interior.

The Schlage B60 is the standard deadbolt for Schlage. You could get any of the Schlage levers and it would be compatible. A few examples would be the F51-ACC, F51-FLA, F51-AVA and many more. These three I suggested are all keyed-entry, but you can use a passage with the deadbolt, as well.
I have a B60N V 505 605 deadbolt lock I purchased a local hardware store. Can I buy more of these locks from you with the same Key Alike number?
Yes, we can key this item to your existing locks. You will need to obtain the key code from a lock smith or some keycodes are printed on the keys. Then provide that keycode to us at the time of order placement on the product pages before adding to the cart. Please note that the code listed on the box is not the key code for the keys.
I have a B62 and would like to change it to have a thumbturn on the interior side, is it possible to get just the inerior thumbturn and plate? Are they compatible with the B62 workings? Or do I just have to replace the entire unit with the B60?
In order to switch from a Double Cylinder to a Single Cylinder like the Schlage B60 you will need to replace the whole unit. The cylinder on a Double Cylinder is a different length than the Single, so if you just ordered the interior they would not match up.

Schlage B60 has an anti pick shield that can be removed to have the 1.5" bore size.
We have older steel doors with 1 5/8" boreholes. Will this deadbolt fit in that size hole? If not, does anyone make a deadbolt that does?
The Schlage B60 is for bore holes that are 2 1/8. Try the Baldwin 8031 for bore holes 1 5/8".
Does this b60 include the lock cylinder?
The Schlage B60 includes the entire deadbolt (front, back, and latch).
How many keys should you receive when keyed alike on 6 locks?
When a Schlage B60 is ordered you received 2 keys per deadbolt.
