Re-keying a lock is now as simple as turning a key. Schlage's new SecureKey™ cylinder allows you to re-key the lock without ever removing it from the door. Schlage deadbolts still safeguard your home and family with superior protection against attack by crowbar, hammer, wrench, saw, lock pick and kick-in. With that kind of security, you can spend less time comparing brands and more time deciding on a style and finish.

nice product The secure-key from Schlage is a pretty neat idea. Very easy to rekey. The lock comes with a paired reset key and two normal-use keys. The reset key essentially clears the lock for use with another paired set of reset-key-and-normal-use keys. If you lose your reset key, one can be made from a blank reset key & the normal use key (so a locksmith told me). If you're ordering several locks, get them keyed differently, then reset them to one of the several pairs you'll have, with the others as spares. A plug for Handlesets.com: they excelled on the two orders (~$1500 worth of handles, knobs, & deadbolts) I made to equip a new house with quick shipping and great service. A few issues arose and they handled them professionally & immediately. I would order from them again in a heartbeat. January 21, 2011
Great Deadbolt Moved into a new townhouse and purchased four deadbolts to replace the existing hardware. These Schlage pieces are an upgrade in security as well as looks from the current Kwik Set hardware. When comparing you can clearly see that Schlage equipment is much stronger and will protect your biggest investment. Installation is easy as well. This was my first time working with locks/knobs and it was a breeze. Spend time on the first one, figure it out, do it right, and the rest are easy. Also, getting all four deadbolts keyed the same saves $10-25 bucks per deadbolt in re-key fees from your local locksmith. December 6, 2010

Easy Replacement I purchased two sets of deadbolts and entry knobs with the SecureKey technology. Everything worked as described. Locks installed in about 10 minutes each and were easily keyed alike. I will purchase this product again. August 23, 2010

How do I choose the interior handle for this lock.

The Schlage B60-SK deadbolt will include the interior portion. It will have a standard turn style knob to activate the deadbolt.

How do I choose an interior handle for this. Can I get the F59CHP TO MATCH THE FRONT DOOR.

The Schlage B60-SK is a deadbolt which comes with a thumblatch on the interior. There are no options for the interior thumblatch.

I ordering two Schlage secure key deadbolts and two Schlage secure key keyed entry doorknobs. I want them to all work off one key, but I also need alot of extras. Should I order them keyed differently and will that give me more extra keys?
