Elan Passage Door Lever Set 5 5 3 6

A "Steal" I first bought these lever sets about 8 years ago at the higher prices. I first looked at a conciderably more expensive other manufacturer's but their action was "mushy". I tried the Schlages and their action was firm and just felt good and solid. I had them installed in a house in Toronto, that I was rennovating. (I am an architect) The Ela F-10 were not only very good looking hardware but worked like hardware twice their price. I, later installed them in my own house in Lakefield. They look great and work flowlessly. We love the F-10s I, now am now getting them for my daughter in Ottawa. At the new price, I think they are the bagain of all door hardware. They are beautifully designed, they feel and work well and they last. January 20, 2010

Small Problem Expertly Handled Bought a Schlage F10-ELA lever passage. For some reason this product is hard to find locally so I purchased it from Handlesets. I like Schlage products for their style and quality at their price point. Upon trying to install the product (a week or two after I had purchased it) I found that it was faulty. The mounting holes hadn't been tapped for threads. I called Handlesets and their representative there took care of the problem so quickly and competently that I wasn't on the phone but a few minutes. I do have one complaint, Handlesets took three days to just fulfill both of my orders (the original order and the replacement) so if you are in a big hurry for any reason, take that into account. As for me, this project had a lengthy time line so a couple of days one way of the other doesn't bother me particularly. I will use Handlesets again without reservation. The Schlage products really enhance the beauty of our new, tight grain Fir, doors. December 28, 2009

Schlage F10-ELA door handles, purchased for garage Bought 4 of these for use in my garage, this handle is like many Schlage handles I have purchased in a previous remodel, nice snug in operation, easy to install. Would recommend to anyone who likes the rugged looks and wants an easy install. February 7, 2008
