great product, great price The only thing we were disappointed to learn is that when you purchase handlesets through this website, you don't receive two different options for hardware for your door. i.e. when purchased from Lowe's or Home Depot, you receive hardware with rounded edges and square edges so you can pick the one that matches what's been done on your door. Smooth to the touch I bought these door knobs in black 4 months ago to replace my brass ones. At first they took a little bit of getting used to, but now I love them. They are smooth to the touch, fit in a traditional or modern setting and just look sharp. They arrived promptly and were easy to install. May 27, 2010

I want to purchase the F10-PLY in matte black. What do you recommend for matching door hinges?

There are a log of different sizes for hinges. In regards to finding ones that would match the matte black, Deltana would be the best option. The next best brand would be Baldwin, but those will be more expensive.

Is the scew on the back plate visible?

The screws on the Schlage F10-PLY are not concealed.

Do you have a privacy bath/hall set in polished chrome?

Yes, we do have a polished chrome privacy handleset available in the Plymouth series. The product id is F40-PLY.

Do you have a privacy bath/hall set in a brown finish

The Schlage F10-PLY is going to have the matching privacy of Schlage F40-PLY.

Is there any sort of thick door kit for one of these? I'd like to put it on a 2.25" thick door.

The Schlage F10-PLY will require the Schlage F206-437 thick door kit.
