The Schlage FE285-CAM-ACC-RH Camelot Lower Handleset for Electronic Keypad with Accent Interior Right Handed Lever is bolted through the door. I think you're referring to the tab that covers the screw on the inside of the door. If you use a small flat head screwdriver, you should be able to pry the tab off of the top of the screw.
To determine handing you will need to stand on the outside of the door facing it. If the hinges are on the right it is right handed. If the hinges are on the left it is left handed.
The dummy version to match this will be the F92-CAM. When you add this item to the cart, you will need to select the interior lever/knob. That is when the Accent lever can be selected to match this set. You are able to choose between left or right handing.
This is a grade 2 lock, which is a residential grade.
The Schlage FE285-CAM-ACC-RH is a lower handle-set and is not made to attach to electronics. Although this unit will work with electronics it does not connect directly to them.
