Plymouth Lower Handleset for Electronic Keypad with Flair Interior Right Handed Lever 4.3 5 3 3

OK, but not great. The smoothness of operation on this leaves something to be desired. It is not dirt cheap, so I expected a certain smoothness when depressing the lever on either side and I expected a smooth retraction then full extension. This sticks sometimes and it has nothing to do with the installation...it did this when out of the door too (as a test). It is a mechanical/friction device, very simple (so hopefuly it won't break) but very primitive in it's smoothness. September 2, 2011

Useful for other deadbolt options This is the product that you'll want if you have an electronic lock or a different high security option (Abloy, Medeco, etc). Schlage offers a good range of finishes that can match or come very close to matching other company's finishes. They are also one of the few companies where you can find the handle without the matching deadbolt (not used for e-locks). I matched an Abloy deadbolt in satin brass to the Schlage handleset with no problems. The initial quality of the product is very good (solid handle, good mounting system, & good opening mechanism). The longevity of the product remains to be seen. However, I have not heard of any problems with Schlage. On the other hand, my Kwikset's finish was peeling which is why I had to replace the handleset. I would have considered Baldwin but I could not find an option without an included deadbolt. When installing this product, pay careful attention to the setting of the lever handle in relation to the inner mechanism and mounting screws. If you don't connect it correctly then your handle will not work and you'll have to redo your work. My Handlesets.com order was completed promptly and the shipping took a few days. I would definitely recommend this site to others, I ended up saving a large amount of $$$ versus buying this product at the local home store. May 2, 2011

What dead bolt in satin nickel matches this?

The Schlage BE365-PLY in satin nickel would match this perfectly.

What is the dimensions from center to center from top to bottom. This is a replacement handle and I want to make sure it will match existing holes.

The Schlage FE285-PLY-FLA-RH is 5 1/2" on center.

What is pictured looks like a left handed lever, but the description says right handed. Does "left handed" refer to the hand you would use to open the door or the direction the lever points or what?

The image actually is a right handed set. The lever and cap shown are the interior pieces for the handleset. From the inside, yes, the lever will be on the left side. But, handing for door hardware is determined from the exterior. When outside, facing the door, if the hinges are on the right side of the door, it's a right handed lever. This fixture is a right handed fixture. We apologize for any confusion.

Do they make dummy handsets for Electronic Keypad Single Cylinder Deadbolt so if you have double doors it would look uniform from the outside?

Unfortunately currently there is not a dummy set that will look like the electronic key pad. You can either buy a different dummy set that can match the color and design of the lower handle or you buy two keypads.
