Great Product
Really enjoy the electronic locks, very convenient.

Works great
This lock was very easy to install. And it's even easier for our staff to use. Works great. The only flaw (ever so slight) was that the wrong latch type was sent. Luckily, being rounded, it still worked fine. We didn't need it to be perfect so we didn't contact customer service for an exchange.

Great Product
The best invention ever, no more packing keys and family member (the ones you give the code to) can get in. Codes can be changed so thats great too. Love this product, I have one on every door. I would recommend highly.

good keyless system - prosumer grade
Good keyless entry system. Missing feature is ability to have an 'unlocked' mode.

Top quality best price
The price was the key for me here as I could have purchased it at Menard's for $20 more plus tax. Excellent product as most Schlage products are.

How far should the door hole center is from the edge of the door
The Schlage FE575-PLY-ELA can be used with backsets (the distance between the middle of the hole and the edge of the door) of either 2-3/4" or 2-3/8".
How is autolock function disabled or reprogramed?
The Schlage FE575-PLY-ELA can not have the autolock feature disabled. The FE595-PLY-ELA has the feature to turn off the auto-lock feature.
It mentions that there's "no programming required" and that it comes shipped with two user codes. Does this mean the lock isn't reprogrammable? What happens if I need to change the code?
The Schlage FE575-PLY-ELA can be re-programmed at any time. The installation instructions below explain how to do it on page 5 and 6. http://consumer.schlage.com/Project%20Documents/P515-859.pdf
Do they make a lockbox for this so it can be welded into a gate
The Schlage FE575-PLY-ELA does not have a lock box accessory.
I have a 5 1/2 " center to center door. Will the FE575-PLY fit?
The Schlage FE575-PLY-ELA measures roughly 3.5" from the center of the latch to the top of the plate, if your center to cender is 5.5" this might cut it too close.
