Can the combination be reset multiple times?
Yes, you are able to reset the code as many times as you need. You just have to go through the programming process. That will be included in the instructions.

worth the price
I have installed 4 of these throughout my home and they are great. Times when you don't have your keys are lock yourself out and need to get through the door. I would put them onany house that I own

Easy to install, Works
As with the other locks it was easy to install. Control over the automatic lock is probably not necessary, unless a family member just feels they have to have it or if you have children.
The lock is easy to program, use and explain to others.
My only complaint was with the order not the lock. I requested that it be keyed like my other locks. It was not. By time I figured this out it was installed and I was not about to send it back. So check before you install. In any case it is probably not necessary unless you want to carry a key.In any case make sure you know how the key works. It is a override key, not a house key.
All this being said, I would still order another lock from them.

Extremely helpful
When installing this product a small part broke. We sent pictures of the part and explained how it happened. They sent us a NEW lockset. All of our correspondence and telephone experience with their sales and customer service people was very cordial and pleasant. THESE PEOPLE AIM TO PLEASE!

Great functions
Bought in the brushed nickel finish. I thought it might be too big, but it blends in well. Functions--lighted keypad, easy to press keys, and locking mechanism--are perfect.

Easy installation. Very practical; completely eliminates the need to carry keys once and for all. Only drawback: Manual key override should be simpler. Also, it seems the manual key override still requires battery power.

Simple/Functional/Attractive All in One Package
I purchased three of these handlesets: Slage FE595-CAM-GEO. I'd looked for these elsewhere to no avail... I wanted the all in one and with a round handle rather than lever styled and rather than the separate dead bolt and handle set. I was surprised how easy it was to use and set. The paper directions are a bit confusing do to the layout, but once I figured out what they were saying on the one page and then flipped back and forth, it was easy. I've only installed one but purchased two more for our other two doors for when we're ready, that way they are all keyed alike, we would have a more difficult time if we waited and did that later... I hope the battery lasts as long as other people have said... two years... time will tell.

great lock
We are using this as an interior lock, to keep nosy children out of mom & dad"s bedroom. I also have one on the pantry to keep hungry teens from eating everything in sight! I absolutely love this lock. I would highly recommend it. It is easy to install, and easy to change the lock codes.

can this be used for an entrance door to your house ?
The Schlage FE595-CAM-GEO can be used on the entrance door to your home.
I'm trying to find a matching deadbolt lock in brushed chrome for: Schlage FE595 CAM 626 ACC Camelot Keypad Entry with Flex-Lock and Accent Levers, Brushed Chrome. There only seems to be a "Satin Chrome". Also, is there a better choice for exterior use? Thanks!
There is not a separate single cylinder deadbolt with the Camelot rosette. The B60 is their only stand alone deadbolt.
Is this type of lock recommended for a door that is exposed to wet weather and/or cold temperatures in a building with no heat?
The Schlage FE595-CAM-GEO is meant to withstand wet / cold temperatures. I hope this helps!

Changing the password on these is pretty easy to do. You would be able to change it every couple of days if you desired.
Is there any way to lock the knob on the inside so a small child can't get out of the house?
The Schlage FE595-CAM-GEO cannot be locked by the knob only. The only way to lock it would be to lock the deadbolt portion.
Is this lock "technically" a deadbolt? I note some FE595 keypads are not.
The Schlage FE595-CAM-GEO is not a deadbolt. It has a standard door knob latch that can be automatically and electronically locked and unlocked.
Will this lock allow enough clearance for a door with a standard deadbolt installation?
If you have a standard bore hole center to center of 5.5", then the Schlage FE595-CAM-GEO will absolutely provide enough clearance for you.
Can this be used on an interior door?
Yes, you are able to use this on an interior door as well. It is just more commonly used for an exterior door.

The Schlage FE595-CAM-GEO uses a 9 volt battery. The battery should last at least six months.
