Is there a minimum diameter sink cutout to accept this faucet?
A. The Schon SCL200 will work with the standard faucet hole size of 1 3/8" diameter.
Can this faucet be used for an undermount sink, or just a vessel sink? I also have a "wading pool" sink, so can it be used for that type of sink?
A. The Schon SCL200 is not recommended to be used with a undermount or wading pool sink because it will more then likely splash. The SCL425 is the same faucet but shorter made for regular sinks.
Is this faucet ADA compliant?
A. The Schon SCL200 is unfortuately not ADA compliant.
I already have a drain assembly for my vessel sink. Can the faucet be installed without the drain assembly that comes with it? Are they entirely separate or will there be a drain "pull" that would remain but just not function if the Schon drain is not installed? Also, my sink is only a 3.5" high vessel is this faucet likely to be too tall?
A. The Schon SCL200 has an "Overall Height of 12", so you may consider a faucet with a shorter height given the height of the vessel sink. The drain assembly you currently have can be used with just about any vessel faucet. The drains for vessel faucets are "pop-up" drains that do not have pulls on the faucet to open and close the drain.
Is it made of solid brass?
A. The Schon SCL200 is solid brass with a plated finish.
Where is this fauset made? Any testimony on it?
A. Schon has production plants in Italy, Turkey, and China. They are a higher end brand. We don't have any customer submitted reviews for this particular fixture, I'm afraid. But Schon, as a brand, is a higher end, more reliable company, comparable to Jado or Kohler.
