Beautiful I searched three different home improvement stores in my area repeatedly and couldn't find a light fixture I liked. I Love This Light! After much shopping in stores and viewing different lights on the internet, I decided on the Light fixture by Sea Gull Lighting. I was so pleased when my light arrived, the fixture is of very good quality and beautiful. I have a round oak antique table and this looks perfect hanging over it. I was especially pleased at the antique bronze coloring of the metalwork. Installation was done by my husband and comparatively easy. The light is very nice when sitting at the table. I used the new pointed low wattage bulbs in it, with the normal bases since I had them for the former light. I can have five bulbs with very little cost in electricity and the soft bulbs make a very attractive light. Every day I tell my husband how much I like the light, until he is getting a little tired of hearing it. A very pleased customer. Your delivery was amazingly fast and I would certainly do business with you when my next lighting needs come around. March 1, 2010

Great Purchase! After 7 years in our house with no light over the dining room table, we finally installed the wiring and needed to purchase a light fixture. It was easy to choose the style I wanted with the great pictures online. I ordered the antique bronze chandelier which looked a little two-toned in the picture but when it arrived it was one solid color which still looked nice. We had no problems installing the light fixture and absolutely love the amount of light we get from it. I went with the 5-light instead of 3-light and also installed a dimmer switch. We have received many compliments and would definitely order from LightingDirect again. December 28, 2009

Can the lights be reversed so they face upward?

The Sea Gull Lighting 31051 lights can not be reversed as it is a down lighting fixture only.

Does it fit for lounge room. If not, what do you recommend for Australia 220W, polished brass/gold plated

The Sea Gull Lighting 31051 is 110v and is designed for use in the US/Canada. I'm very sorry, this is not designed for use in Australia. We do not carry fixtures for Australia as your systems are different and we do not ship to Australia.

Can you use cfl bulbs in this light?

Yes, you can use Medium Base CFL bulbs with this fixture.

I would like to know what the chandelier is made of. Is it wood?

The Sea Gull Lighting 31051 is actually made of steel overall.

Is there a single light wall sconce that matches this (indoor)?

Yes item #44650 is the coordinating sconce.

what are the measurements of the glass shades?

The Sea Gull Lighting 31051 glass shade, which is part No. G500670-619, 4-17/32 height with an inner diameter of fitter 1-11/16 and out of fitter is 2 inches. The glass opening is 6-15/16 of an inch at the widest part at the bottom.

What is the proper height to hang this above a table?

The proper height to hang this Sea Gull Lighting 31051 above a table is subject to personal preference. I suggest hanging item at least 2.5' above the table. I hope this helps.
