Nice lighting fixture Very nice lighting fixture. The product is larger than it appears in photos and does stick out from the wall a little more than I pictured. Read the specs before buying if you are concerned. We really like it in our new bathroom and it goes well with the other fixtures. Easy to install. Shipping was fast. Will definitely return for more bathroom products. August 11, 2011

Great Lighting Fixture This lighting fixture looks way more expensive than the actual cost! The shipping time was very fast and the fixture was well packaged. My electrician had no problem installing it in our new master bath. July 19, 2011

great light but glass shades are wide We purchased two of these lights for our kids bathrooms. The look great and were easy to install. Only drawback is the diameter of the glass shades is quite wide making is so you hang a mirror behing the shade. Otherwise a great product. January 11, 2010

Beautiful light This is a gorgeous light that has a wonderful modern and yet soft look to it. It gives off good light depending on the light bulb watt that you choose. I decided to go with a regular fixture and use CFL's rather than pay a little more for the energy star rated fixture. 3 40 watt CFL's is the perfect amount of light for my small bathroom. The Sea Gull Lighting 44062 can be used with a regular med based incadescent bulb up to 100 watts max. This unit can also be used with a compact flourescent bulb (the quirly que type). 26 watt max is equivalent to 100 watts incandescent.

Is the glass etched at all, or is it a solid white color glass?

The Sea Gull Lighting 44062 is solid white glass shades.

There are two different answers below. The distance the light extends from the wall? Also size of globes? On their website it says the globes are 7.5?

This item extends 10.25" and the globes measure 7 1/2"w x 4 1/16"h

Can the light mount up or down? The picture shows it down, but the measurement of 8" from box up and only 3" down implies that it can point up.
