Do you need a cap for weather, if so how much, if cap what size bulb allowed..i.e. does it have space for good size CFL, incandescent will go away
The Sea Gull Lighting 8340 does not have a cap available to protect from weather. It is listed for damp locations, something listed for wet locations will be more weather tolerant. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.
Can this be used horizontally? Is there light coming out both ends?
The Sea Gull Lighting 8340 can be used horizontally, and you can cover both ends if you use the diffuser shades, part 9008-12.
