Can a daisy-chained series of 3 lamps be dimmed?

The Sea Gull Lighting 9858 can be dimmed if you use a electric transformer and a high quality low voltage electronic dimmer.

Does this light have a lens covering the bulb, or is it open?

The Sea Gull Light 9858 does not come with a lens, but it can be purchased separately. The cover for this light is 9414 Ambiance LX Disk Light Lens.

I am not sure on the transformer? You mention the 9454-12 for a series but the 9455 if 4 120V 9858-962 lights are used? I am going to add 3-4 lights so which transformer should I use?

The Sea Gull Lighting 9858 should use a 9805 and this will handle up to 6 lights

How do i change the bulb?

The Sea Gull Lighting 9858 canopy will unscrew in half at the beveled glass portion and you will be able to unscrew and re-screw in the light bulb.

Does this require a transformer?

The Sea Gull Lighting 9858 does require a transformer. The hardwire transformer is the 9454-12 for a series of lights. The plug in transformer is the 9455-12 for a single light.
