/does the 2350 model battery powered unit have a built in water flow generator to charge the battery? Does this same model come with a CSA approval?

The Sloan SF-2350-BDM does not have rechargable batteries. You just have to replace them with (4) AA batteries. This is CSA approved

How do you operate the opening of the drain on this model?

This does not have a drain assembly so this does not operate anything with the drain.
