Soler & Palau TD 4"/100MM Inline Mixed Flow Duct Fan

The S&P TD-MIXVENT series of in-line duct fans have been specially designed to maximize the airflow performance with minimal noise levels within the smallest and most compact of housing sizes. This makes the TD-MIXVENT series the ultimate solution for small to medium sized ventilation installations which require a high airflow to pressure ratio and occupy only the minimum space possible. Example: false ceiling voids, cabinets and many other limited space environments.

Good fan I used the TD 100 in a vertical orientation to vent a composting toilet. Works very well, quiet and powerful for it's size. Does not install easily into a pvc pipe run. Required using some drainage pipe as a solid tight fitting connector. Also, there is very little difference between the high and low speeds. July 26, 2011

Excellent Fan This is a great bathroom exhaust fan. It is extremely quiet and does a good job of venting our 5' x 12' master bath. Installation of the fan itself was a breeze and my only suggestion is for someone to manufacture a direct replacement ceiling fan duct box with a 4 inch fitting. Since the existing fan was in such bad shape, I had to custom build a ceiling box to transition to the fan. June 3, 2011

Where was this B4? I could have used this fan in so many projects but I didn't know about it and neither did any of the local supply houses. I needed a way to vent a sink/dishwasher pump pit yet was not bulky. This is easy to install and does the trick on the low speed. The mounting is easy and you don't get harmonics like you can from other manufacturers and types. Customer is completely satisfied! May 1, 2011

exactly what i was looking for I am contractor and was looking for a product i could use to replace the existing bath fan without removing the existing fan. I installed this in the attic and used the old fan housing as an intake. No damage to the ceiling and a much quieter end result. April 23, 2011

What is the CFM at each of the two speeds?

The Soler and Palau TD-100 will run at 97 cfm and 101 cfm.

What is the static pressure rating for this fan? Also, how many watts is it? (This info is not on the spec sheet). Thanks.

The Soler and Palau TD-100 uses .45 Amps. The static pressure rating varies; at 97cfm there is 0 static pressure, at 81cfm there is .125 static pressure and at 51cfm there is .25 static pressure.

The Soler and Palau TD-100 can run ducting up to 25' in length. Keep in mind that every time you put a 90 degree turn on it it's the equivalent of 5' of ducting.

I need this exact fan spec, but need it as a booster for a automotive exhaust hose system in my shop. To what temp is this rated, and is there another fan for higher temp applications?

The Soler and Palau TD-100 is designed as a bathroom exhaust fan only and is rated ofr non-hazardous airstreams only. You might consider the Continental Fan FG series, rated for airstream temperatures up to 140 degrees F.

What is the rated CFM of this fan? And can it be used in conjunction with filters?

The Soler and Palau TD-100 can run through a variable voltage, it has a speed control like dimmer so it will be fine in that application.

I would like to use this in my shop, exhausting wood dust. Would this fan be acceptable. Alco, how long of a "ducting system" can I use?

Yes, the Soler and Palau TD-100 can be used for that application. If there's wood chips we suggest you use a dust collector too. Lots of wood chips can be flammable. Maximum ducting system is 25 feet. Keep in mind that every time you make a bend or elbow it's the equivalent of 5 feet.

Is the grill included and if so, does it include a damper? My application is a steam shower and I don't want the steam to exhaust unless the fan is turned on.

The Soler and Palau TD-100 does not come with the grille. With this model it gives you the option to choose a single point exhaust system or a Multi-Point exhaust system
