Soler & Palau TD 4"/100MM Inline Mixed Flow Duct Fan

The S&P TD-MIXVENT series of in-line duct fans have been specially designed to maximize the airflow performance with minimal noise levels within the smallest and most compact of housing sizes. This makes the TD-MIXVENT series the ultimate solution for small to medium sized ventilation installations which require a high airflow to pressure ratio and occupy only the minimum space possible. Example: false ceiling voids, cabinets and many other limited space environments.

4"/100MM Inline Mixed Flow Duct Fan 5 5 6 6

excellent fan for the job I installed this fan three weeks ago to move air from the warm part of our house to a cooler part of the house in conjunction with 4" flexible duct work. It was very easy to install and wire for a moderately skilled DIYer like myself. I wired it to run only on low speed and it is virtually silent yet moves an adequate amount of air. The only nit-pick I have is that it doesn't have beads around the ends of the connectors for holding on flexible duct and clamps. I "fixed" this by running a bead of caulking around the ends to make my own beads. Other than that, I'm completely satisfied with the fan. August 9, 2011

Really got my moneys worth Bought 2 of these fans to put in line of the duct work so i could take the squirrel cage motors out of 2 existing Nutone bath fans that were already in the bath rooms that were very noisy. The new motors are two speed, i just hooked up the high speed and were easy to install just used the old fans power wires and ran a 14-2 wire to them up in the attic and ran new 4" flexable duct to the rooftop vent cap. Was really taken back by how quiet they are, all you here is air movement. and they do 2 1/2 times a better job than the old units did. February 12, 2011

Excellent customer service Fan is used in a small basement workroom 8x12 vented directly outside thru 4-in PVC pipe. Clears dust and fumes well with minimal noise. The technical help and fast service I received was excellent. Thanks very much. October 25, 2010

Quite easy install Very nice fan. Quite now my wife wants it installed in our other bathroom. If your house is designed right one properly sized fan can do more then one bath room. May 13, 2010

great little fan Suoer quiet, two speed easy to hook up. There is no switch for the 2 speed, you have to manualy switch wires internally. But Love this unit November 23, 2009

The Soler and Palau TD-100X does not include a damper. I would purchasing their model MCA-100 for use with this fan.

Can I plug this unit into a standard 120V wall outlet?

The Soler and Palau TD-100X must be hard wired for installation. There is no easy conversion cord we sell to have this plug into a standard 120v outlet.

Can the unit be installed in an attic where the temperature may reach ~120F? It would be venting a bathroom with in duct air temperature up to ~80F.

The TD-Mixvent units are suitable for the exhaust or supply of both conditioned and un-conditioned airstreams within the temperature ranges (inclusive of duct airstream’s temperature) of -40°C up to +40°C. The 40 degree celcius is equivalent to about 104 degrees fahrenheit.

The Soler and Palau TD-100X is 60 watts high speed and 44 low speed. These are designed to run constantly and come with a 5 year warranty.

The Soler and Palau TD-100X is a more powerful duct fan than the TD-100. It has a CFM 135/100, where as the TD-100 has a CFM of 101/97.
