The Tech Lighting DJ-Archie can be mounted to a standard stud framed wall, it is a hardwired fixture which does require the proper electrical hook up behind the wall. Let me know if you have any other questions.
The Tech Lighting DJ-Archie is the fixture and then you can get the DJ canopy that includes a transformer, but is not remote.
The Tech Lighting DJ-Archie uses a 4 inch junction box. They do offer 2 inches as well as screw on, depending upon which canopy you used. The canopy comes with the transformer.
