Can this light be adapted for dusk to dawn on/off?
With the use of a separate dusk to dawn switch you could have that function with the Great Outdoors GO 8101 but there will be a separate visible part to control that function.

good outdoor light
Positive: sturdy, modestly attractive, and keeps the light pointing down (protecting our dark sky).
Negative: standard lightbulb protrudes below the fixture, so doesn't look as good as it should.

Just what we wanted.
This fixture replaced a badly weathered, cheap builders fixture on our patio. It is such an improvement over what we had. Really improves the look of our home.
