faucets Direct came through
This toilet is hard to get and on most websites told it is backordered. The week before I placed an order with efaucets who assured me in stock and they are shipping. They never did and I found out ONLY after I had to call the toilet was not in stock and wouldn't ship for 3 months (maybe). I cancelled order and I found faucets Direct (who I should have called in the first place!)
I called Faucets Direct, and voila within 5 days i had the toilet i wanted. No hassles! I thus ordered the rest of the plumbing items i needed from faucets direct with same exemplary result. Great prices, great CS, friendly and faucets Direct performs!

Can a Toto washlet be used with this model??
The Toto CT418FG can't have the washlet option because there isn't enough clearance from the seat to the wall.
Can the Toto CT418FG be mounted to the new Geberit 111.728.00.1?
The Toto CT418FG and the 111.728.00.1 can be mounted together.

This toilet must be used with an in wall tank system.

The Toto CT418FG is a wall mounted toilet, you would need the wall mounted washlet and carrier model Geberit 111.520.00.1.
Do i need to install anything between the toilet bowl and a tiled wall. Would Duravit's noise reduction gusket work?
You do not need to install anything between the wall and the Toto CT418FG. Duravit's noise reduction gasket is not ment to be installed with the Toto fixture.
Does the toilet come with the seat or are these ordered separately?
A seat is needed to be purchased seperately. Toto recommends SS204 or SS164.
does this toilet have an elongated bowl? Does the tank require a 2X6 wall or does it fit into a 2X4 wall?
The Toto CT418FG is elongated and would fit on a 2x4. I hope this helps!

The Toto CT418FG can be used in a residence if the wall it is being mounted to is sturdy enough and wide enough to accommodate the in-wall tank system that would need to be included, such as the Geberit 111.335.00.5.

You can use either the Geberit 111.335.00.5 or the Geberit 111.255.00.1.
Do you (or will you carry) the Toto in-wall tank system?
We will carry the Toto in wall tank system when it becomes available. In the meantime Toto suggests you use the Gerberit system.
I heard that this can also be mounted to a Grohe 38 749 000 carrier. Is that true?
The Toto CT418FG can only be mounted to a wall.
is the flush button included with the in wall tank or the toilet or must it be purchased separately?
The flush button is not going to be included on the in wall tank. It can be purchased separately; your choices on the push button will depend on what in wall tank you order. The 2 options are the Toto (WT151M or WT152M) with the YT820 or YT800 buttons or Geberit (111.335.00.5m or 111.255.00.1) with the Sigma, Samba, Bolero, Tango, Mambo, or Rumba buttons. is the toilet compatible with washlets? C110?
Due to the size and design of the CT418fg it can not be used with a washlet. Washlets require a certian amount of space between the mounting bolts and the tank (or wall in this case) due to the toilets design and sleak sizeing it does not have the require space for a washlet's base plate to be installed.
can it be mounted to an existing (50+ yrs old) in wall tank system with 4 mounting studs (remove 2?)?

What is the Toto WT151M and do you carry the Toto YT800
The WT151M is an in-wall tank unit that is mounted inside of the wall above the toilet.
What would be general maintenance of the in-wall tank system?
It is recommended that you make a panel, to access the tank, so that you don't have to rip out the wall. These tanks are quite durable and do not leak or break often.
