Very beautiful and easy to coordinate Love this mirror, just refinished my bathroom walls with an alabaster/taupe faux plaster. This mirror would blend easily with black or brown and looks really good with the bronze fixture I ordered from the Murray Feiss collection. September 4, 2011

what is the frame made of?

This frame is made of wood+gesso. Gesso consist of a binder and mixture of chalk, gypsum, pigment or any combination of these, and is used in preparation of artwork on wood.

Can this mirror be hung either vertically or horizontally?

Yes, the Uttermost 14156B can be hung vertically or horizontally.
