What are the dimensions of the shade?

The Vaxcel Lighting BL-VLD004 shade diameter is 7-1/4".

What does it mean when it says it has an 8.25 extension. Does that mean it extends outward from the wall 8.25 inches?

The Vaxcel Lighting BL-VLD004 does have an 8.25" extension which means that from the wall to the furthest point out from the wall on the glass globes is 8.25".

What is the measurement from the center electrical box area to the complete bottom of the lamp?

From the center of the backplate to the bottom of the fixture measures 4.875"

The description says it is a down direction light, yet the photo shows it as an up direction light.

The Vaxcel Lighting BL-VLD004 Can be mounted as a downlight or as an uplight.
